I'm sure its in the works now that the liscensing states that you can add/modify gmail and make add-ons.

Actually, the iGoogle gadget works just fine if you enable Gadgets in the Labs setting. The only caveat is that the font is too large requiring a horizontal scroll. I'll bet if Tootledo would just tweak the fonts, they would have VERY little development to do.

The Labs option is called "Add Any Gadget by URL". Enable it, then go to Settings -> Gadgets and paste the above link into place.
