Assigning Tasks

Hi,

Quick question. I have a PRO account and would like to be able to assign tasks to other users. They do not currently have a PRO account. Do I need to get these individuals to upgrade?

The "assign to" field is only showing "myself" as an option even though I have the users as collaborators.

You are correct. Both accounts must be Pro accounts, otherwise private sharing is in read-only mode.

Can you please clarify this. If I create a collaborator and then upgrade their account to a pro account, when I assign a task to them it will show up on their list and be synch'd with their iphone?

Currently, I have upgraded to a pro account and shared my lists with someone else, who does not. They only way that they can see the todo is cumbersome and it does not synch with the iphone.

You are correct. If your collaborator has a Pro account, you will be able to assign a task to them and it will sync to their iPhone.
