iPhone + Subtask + Due Dates

When using the Toodledo app for the iPhone I found the subtasks with overdue dates, or due today are not showing up in the Hotlist. The only work around for this is to turn "on" subtasks in the filter menu- however this ends up "cluttering" all of my lists as most of my to-do's require subtasks due to the complexity. In addition, if I forget to turn "on" the subtasks and take a peek at my hotlist, the number of tasks will be under-represented because the subtasks with today's due date are not showing up. Does anyone know of another workaround to this that doesn't require remembering to turn "on" the subtasks each time I finish using Toodledo on the iPhone?

If the subtask filter is on, then subtasks will be displayed in your lists. If this filter is turned off, then they will only show up embedded inside the parent task. This mirrors the way the subtask filter works on this website. If you want subtasks to show up on the Hotlist, you will need to leave the filter set to "on".
