Create subtotals?

I currently have tasks that are in a goal called"Buying". Each item has a cost. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has a similar need to create a column with a $ value and then a subtotal..
Sure - export to Excel or Quicken would work but it would be preferrable if i keep it all on toodledo.
