Can you explain why recently the field type (on export) for the notes field has changed from memo to string?
This has caused me a real problem with a report writer i use to create customised reporting. String fields are limited in length. Any explanation would be appreciated. It has affected other users in my group too, so it appears not be a local 'user' error. |

Im not sure that I understand what sort of export you are talking about. We have not made any changes recently to how notes are exported. Are you talking about a 3rd party product?

No.
When I export from Tooledo website using the export to CSV file; previously the field for Notes exported as a memo field. It is now exporting as a string (limited length). As mentioned previously, i am conscious it is not anything i have done as it has affected other users too. With the exported CSV file, I use Crystal Reports to create a custom report, which is nw affected by this field type change. |

I don't know what a "memo field" is. Our CSV export has always exported a note as a string.
