I'm a new user and not sure I understand the e-mail feature. I added my e-mail address thinking I would receive a daily e-mail with the items that are due that day. Is this not how the feature works? Thanks!

Yes, this is how it works. At midnight you will get an email with your hotlist for the next day. If you aren't receiving the email, you may need to check your spam filters.
