How to edit/delete a task?

I want sometime to update a task by editing the note section by example or eventually to delete a task. Is there a way to do it? It seems that only visible fields can be modified now.
I will be really nice to put a task in an "edition mode" with a simple click on it and use this view to display more information on the task (last edition time, creation date, all fields, delete button ...)
