I have a search to show me my overdue and upcoming tasks that are incomplete. It is for
STARRED and CHECKED OFF = NO; or
DUE DATE is in the last 30 DAYS and CHECKED OFF = NO; or
DUE DATE is in the next 7 DAYS and CHECKED OFF = NO
However, I'm seeing tons of checked off tasks in the due date is in the last 30 category.
Is there a way to force that criteria to take effect, or a problem with searching that I"m not aware of?

I don't know. I just ran that search and I didn't get any checked off tasks. Please double check that you are using "AND checked off=no" instead of "OR checked off=no"
