Forum search results seems to not return all matches. How should this behave? Thanks.

I typed in my last name, then later tried my first name (part of my alias) and both returned 5 threads. But the list was missing several threads I started that I was looking for.

I've also had trouble searching the forums. Can't put my finger on why but it never seems to return everything I am expecting.
Anyway to solve your specific issue, just click on your name on the left hand side of the thread and it will take you to your profile page and display all threads you have started. |

The forum search does not search on the Author name. It only searches in the body of the message. The 5 threads it found for your name must have mentioned your name in the posts.
It also does relevance matching, so if you search on a phrase that is not unique enough (like "the") it won't find anything. |

OK. Thanks. I'll try both those solutions. I think the profile sounds like it will work if I want to see all my threads.
