What is the sorting logic of the "auto" sort criteria?
I can't seem to find any info about that in the help system.

Just from a quick glance, I'm guessing that "Auto" is by Date Added.

Auto will try to sort by due-date, priority, star or date_added depending on which fields you have enabled and what you are already sorting by.
