I'm a newbie. I have tasks on my list to which I did not at first add a note. Now, how do I add a note?

Just click on the note icon on the right side of the task.

But the note icon only appears in the "classic" view. Correct? Why doesn't the icon appear in the Main view and other views?

It appears in all the views. If your browser window is too small, you may need to horizontally scroll to the right to see it.
