Is there a tidy way of being able to put a task on hold until another one is completed? Specifically, I would like to have a task automatically marked with a one-month due date as soon as a previous task is checked done.

My scenario: I work a hybrid system with some tasks processed according to Mark Forster's Day Week Month (DWM) system. In this a task must be acted on within a month of being entered in the system or else abandoned. Therefore I would like to be able to delay the entry of certain tasks into the system until other tasks have been dealt with, because otherwise they will simply time out and not get done. For instance I need to do a bit of work to get my laptop OS working the way I would like, but I just don't want to deal with that until I have replaced the firmware on my phone (which I need to do to be able to run a viable Toodledo client on it).

This is what we call "task dependency" and it is a frequent request that is on our to-do list for a future update.
