Snooze events

Most To Do programs have a method of allowing an event to be snoozed (hidden) to a later date without disrupting the repeat date. I may be missing something here, but when an event appears that I can't get to until next week, for example, I have only two options: change the "repeat date" (that messes up the next repeat cycle) or add a deferred status (i.e. postponed (cumbersome)). Any other way to truly snooze an event for a short time period?? Thanks.

There isn't a way to snooze (postpone) a task and retain its original due-date. It's on our to-do list.
In the meantime, you may try doing what we do. Just leave the task alone. The fact that it's overdue is a reminder to get it done.
