Repeating Task without Sync

I use many repeating tasks. Sometimes I travel with my iPad & cannot sync for a few days. I'm not sure how repeating tasks work when Sync is not available. Has anyone else explored this?

The website is responsible for rescheduling repeating tasks, so in your scenario, the task will not repeat until after you connect back to the internet and sync.
