Making a grid or panel view

In my work I have about 15-20 areas of work which are ongoing and require frequent attention (eg. staff development, updating the training course, developing new business, checking for updates in my research area, etc.). Added to that are projects, and one-off tasks.
I would like to have a single dashboard/set of panels which would cover all of these areas.
The folders sort of cover that, but I would ideally like to have everything in a kind of panel view, like this:

I think this would help me to have an overview of everything much more effectively than a list does.
I have set up Word and Powerpoint versions of this, but it would good to have this option in Toodledo - unless there is a way that I'v missed?
Any suggestions welcome, including for other software which could do this.
Regards,
F
