I synced my toodledo list with my google calendar, and now every task appears twice in google. I am trying to figure out how to undo that. thank you.

If you unsubscribe from the Toodledo calendar in Google Calendar it will remove them and you can try again. I think you subscribed to Toodledo twice.

No, you can sync to Google Calendar with a free account.
