How do you edit?!?!?!?

This seems crazy, but I can't figure out how to edit an existing task. Obviously I can edit fields that are in the grid, but what about fields that are not in the grid? I can't figure out how to edit the entire task.
What am I missing?

You cannot edit disabled fields. If you want to use a field, you will need to enable it so that it appears in the grid.
