Identifying Completion Dates

Hi Folks,
Is there a way to identify an actual completion date for a task? This is important for tasks that are identified to be repeated based on the completion of the task. It's not unusual for me to finish the task but forget to identify it as being completed until a day or two later.

It is not currently possible to set the completion date to be a date other than the date that you check off the task. This is a popular request and it is on our todo list.
