Context vs Location

When should I use context instead of location ?
As far as I understood, technically speaking location is context + GPS coordinates.
If there is a place with a static physical location, does it make sense to have it as a context?
I suppose you wouldn't use location if you never use the GPS coordinates, so it could be one less field being used(in case you already use contexts).
Any tips and opinions about this?
Thanks
