Complete tasks OFF website

I love goals, and the chain links. But the links are broken if you can't check off your complete task at least once that day. Often I have completed a daily task late at night, but if I don't check it off before midnight, my chain is broken. And I don't always have web access that late.
Two fixes that aren't available:
1) Check off as complete via SMS. I can send text messages at the last minute, just not web access.
2) Mark WHEN the task was complete, even after the fact.
I don't think either fix is currently available, any other thoughts? Is either "fix" likely to be a future feature?
