Would it be possible to have the quick search feature that is available on the folder and other views to also be available in saved searches?

It isn't currently possible, but we will consider it when redesigning the Tasks section. Right now, you can edit the search and add another "Title" search to accomplish the same thing.
You can also use your web browsers built in "search this page" functionality.

Right now , I do edit the search, but the quick search would be .... quicker.
