Why can't the Quick Add use email syntax ?

Wouldn't it make sense for the Quick Add to use email syntax ? Many users know it by heart, and it seems far more reasonable to use the same syntax for both the email and Quick Add, than to force the users to memorize two ways of doing the same thing on the same service.

The email syntax is hard to remember for many users. Im glad you memorized it. You are a power user!

Yeah, if anything, I'd rather have it the other way. Because of the tooltip, I'll memorize the QuickAdd syntax before I learn the email version.
