On the Deleted Tasks page, what does the date refer to? Definitely not when the tasks are deleted because the dates shown on my list for many deleted tasks are within the past week for Old Completed Tasks that I deleted months ago.

Completing a task (checkbox) is different from deleting it (trash can). I think what you are seeing is a task that you completed a while ago, which has just be automatically deleted based on your account settings for how long you want to keep old competed tasks before they are deleted.
