Edit buttons unreadable

I have an iPhone 6. When I edit a note, the three buttons at the top have a background color that is almost the same as the color of the text. It was been this way for a long time. Is there an option I have set wrong?

This is because you have you iPhone set to color in buttons. You can turn this off in Apple Settings > General > Accessibility. Set the "Button Shapes" switch to off.
