iPod Touch OS 3.0 Search?

Does anyone know why when using the new search feature of Apple's 3.0 OS on the iPod Touch that it doesn't search the Toodledo data base? I would be very handy if when searching everything else on my Touch it also came up with my Toodledo items.

Apple has not opened up the Spotlight Search to developers for making data in 3rd party apps searchable. You could use Toodledo's iCal subscription to get tasks with dates on Google Calendar, and then sync Gcal with the iPhone calendar. It would allow you to find them with the search, but it is alot of trouble to go to just to be able to seach your tasks, especially since the result would take you to the calendar and not the Toodledo app where you could edit/complete the task.
