How can I search the description of my tasks?
I don't know if something changed but I am unable to search for words that are in the description of my tasks. It seems to search the titles for the words I am looking for. Please help. I do rely on this to find things in my overly long list of tasks. Oh I am doing this search in Google Chrome from my laptop, if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance, Tre' (UPDATE) My android app does search the description so I can use that until the website matches that behavior. Thanks again. This message was edited Nov 02, 2018. |

If you want to search both task title and task notes, you can to make an advanced search with the following criteria:
Task contains "text to be found" OR Note contains "text to be found" Alternatively, you can switch the view to show task notes and then use CTRL+F functionality of the browser to find the text you need. |

Thank you!
I must not have been using the advanced search properly. I tried it again and it worked as you described it would. |

I have often wished that the drop-down on the search page (that defaults to "Task contains") had an option to select "Task or Note contains" (bonus points for making that the default). I find that would cover the majority of my searches.
