Where to keep info that's not necessarily Tasks

I'm looking for suggestions on what to do with information that does not necessarily belong under Tasks.

An example: I'm gathering a list of issues for an I.T. person to address. In addition to that list of issues, I have notes on who I've reached out to, who of those have gotten back to me, times and phone numbers, etc.

How should I handle such info considering it involves more than just tasks, lists, etc.?

Is the obvious answer not the correct one? I'd think the Notes section of Toodledo could handle this. Depending on the amount of info, maybe even the Task Notes/Comments field. Outlines are also pretty cool, if that suits your need.

Otherwise, iOS notes, Evernote, OneNote, or a shared word/google doc or spreadsheet may help.
