Move list items to task

Is there a way to move list or outline items to tasks. I use the list folder as a task holder and that would be a great feature. I could use context but that puts everything into one big long task list. Ugh. This question was posted in 2016. Surprised they haven’t done anything about it.

I am wondering the same thing. When I have a lot of things to do, I tend to make an outline, and then create Folders etc. But I haven't found a way to move items in the Outline to Tasks.

A hack is to simply copy the outline URL as a task note. Then it is easy to reference the outline and use all the task management features.
