attaching a file

I'm a recent Toodledo user. I want to attach a file to a task. I understand that I have first to download it. So I go to dropdown menu at top righthand corner of screen & select "File" from the "Organise List". here I have 2 options Upload a file or Choose. When I click the button "Upload a file" it does not work/respond. I had previously uploaded 2 small files and they are visible.The second option Choose does appear to be working because when I hover over it a "hand" appears indicating that the link is working. Any help would be appreciated - as I said I have previously uploaded & attached files.
