I cannot see the "Star" icon in my task view

Hi-
On my wife's account, I cannot see "Stars". On my account they are present but do not appear when I share tasks. Also, her account does not show Star as a sort option.
Suggestions?

Click the profile icon (upper right), then "Profile & Settings."
Find "Fields/Functions Used." Is Star listed? If not, click Edit, and add it.
If it is listed - is it scrolled off to the right of the screen?
