Is there a way on the website to search for a keyword in Notes that looks at both the title and the body of the note? On the app it searches both
Is there a way on the app to search ONLY the title so it doesn't find all the Notes that have the keyword, just the ones that have it in the Title of the Note? Thanks very much. I couldn't find the answers looking through the forums. |

If you want to search notes attached to tasks (as opposed to notes), use the magnifying glass in the left pane - https://www.toodledo.com/tasks/index.php?#search
Put the text you want to search for in the field to the right of Task > Contains Click the + sign to the right of the same field (this is shorthand for a logical "or") In the new line that appears, change "Task" to "Note" and enter the same text to the right of it Optionally add additional criteria (such as folder, due date, etc.) using the "Add Rule" link (this is a logical "and") Click Search One suggestion to Toodledo would be to add a new pseudo-field "Task or Note" when choosing what field to search, although SQL purists would probably hate it. Not sure about the old app. I know the new (beta) app on iOS allows you to deselect "Search Task Notes" This message was edited Aug 11, 2023. |
