Changing Due Date on New Instance of Recurring Task?

In former versions of Toodledo, when I marked off a recurring task as completed, the checked off instance and the next instance (by the rules) showed up right there, until the screen was refreshed. This was very helpful if I was late in marking off tasks as I could easily see the new version of the task and edit its due date. Now, in the current version, the new version of the task gets placed in its correct chronological place. How do I easily find this new task if I need to update its due date? I have tasks recurring on all sort of frequencies and there are times that I go a couple days before I mark what was completed.
