Reset field when task repeats

Is it possible to reset a field's value when the task repeats? We use Toodledo to manage tasks that repeat weekly and monthly, and in each case we use a field to demonstrate the progress of the task. At the moment, we have to manually reset it to the beginning before marking it as complete.
