Weird syncing issues are driving me nuts

I'm using the next gen app on iOS (latest app, latest OS) and the new experience in a browser on a Windows 11 PC. I have been seeing situations where syncing isn't happening despite many reloads & refreshes.
For example: About 3 hours ago I deleted a task on iOS. That task still shows up on the PC. I have swiped to sync on the iOS app many times, I have refreshed my browser page many times, and of course the "background sync completed, please refresh" has happened many times in that interval. The *only* thing that fixed this is to log out in the browser, close the browser, and re-open Toodledo. Now the task is correctly gone from the browser view (once I get back to the new experience ... see below). Another annoyance that comes to light when logging back in, is that even though my bookmark takes me to the new experience (tasks.toodledo.com), the login flow appears to have not been updated for the new experience, and so after logging in it takes me to the old experience (toodledo.com/tasks) which of course looks like crap because I haven't been maintaining whatever the default view is. This has been broken for as long as I have been using the new experience. Surely it can't be hard to test for this stuff? I also often notice that if I make too many changes at once to a task (like change the due date *and* the priority, only some of my changes take effect. I'm guessing a sync is probably happening in between some of the changes. Having to continually make sure Toodledo is doing what I told it to rather than ignoring me is getting old. |

My bookmark is set to https://tasks.toodledo.com/main/0 - that's the new experience isn't it?
Here's the sequence: After logging out, https://tasks.toodledo.com/main/0 takes me to https://www.toodledo.com/signin.php?redirect=tasks which drops me on https://www.toodledo.com/tasks/index.php This message was edited 21 hrs and 24 mins ago. |
