My account stays on October 27th, but we are October 28. Is this something I can change or is this server time?

check Account Settings->Your Date / Time:-> edit

I did do that, but the only thing you can change is the way the date is displayed and not the date it self. I have checked my system and it is on the right date. Toodledo persists that it is October 27 today.

There are four settings under "Your Date/Time". The bottom one is timezone, and that is where you select your current time.
