How does the iPhone app differ from using Toodledo via Safari?

I'm a recent Toodledo user (free) and subscriber. Within the first couple of days of using Toodledo I realized that I was going to upgrade, and did.
Now, I'm contemplating the Toodledo iPhone app. I have been very pleased using Toodledo (slim) on the iPhone with Safari. How does the app differ?
Specifically, can I access my custom searches? This would be the kicker for me. Currently, I cannot access my custom (saved) searches via Safari. Or, can I? If the app can, I'll buy it immediately.

Custom saved searches are not yet supported on the iPhone, but we hope to add this in a future update.
