This column is for me more important than many others, but I seem unable to move them to the left. Is it really like this? If so, then why?

The note column cannot currently be moved, but this is on our to-do list.

Glad it is on the list; hopefully also on the list is a shortcut key to open the Note of a task/subtask. Having to use the mouse is quite inefficient.
