Eerything worked very consistently under Regular Toodledo. Then I read about subtasks and upgraded. Figured it was a way to consolidate categories. Nothing but troubles.
This time: How do I reorder subtasks in my own arbitrary way? e.g., I have a Folder called Speeder Trips; In it is a task called Oakdale; Oakdale has a bunch of subtasks which represent points of interest at various mileposts on the railroad. They should all be in "milepost order" to be of any use. They aren't , but not TD's fault. I figure I should be able to drag them by the Hand icon to their proper place, but they end up flying all over the task list. [only saving grace is they don't disappear. I search by text and find them in some weird area.] Similarly for my Recipe Folder; Zucchini Salad task, and ingredient subtasks. TIA Don |

Sounds like you need to turn on the preference to allow manual sorting via drag & drop.
