There is a number that shows up at the right upper corner of by "toodledo" icon on my iphone. I have "synced" it several times, so I don't think the number signifies updates for the software. Does anyone know what it is for or how to get rid of it?

It's the "Application Badge" and it displays the number of tasks in one of the following:
1. Your Hotlist
2. Overdue tasks
3. Top Priority tasks
4. Next Action tasks
Check in Settings.
