Selecting various task parameters (priority, status, etc.) always felt a little clunky to me. I decided to whip up a few mockups of what I'd prefer. The results are below!
Basically, you can define a parameter (priority, status, etc.) much more swiftly by left-clicking and dragging to the desired option. Or, you can simply click once to open the option window, and click again on the option you want, as normal. Hotkeys also work. Also included is a much faster way to assign priority to tasks, taking the process from 2 clicks to 1 without being unwieldy.
