Making ToodleDo Backups a Weekly Task

Given the unknown future of ToodleDo, I've created a weekly backup task. Luckily, Toodledo makes backups very easy, it's just a standard URL, the same for anyone (uses your session id). So I include the following text in the task:
1. ToodleDo Backup: https://www.toodledo.com/tools/backup.php 2. CSV Export: https://www.toodledo.com/tools/csv.php 3. CSV Completed Items Export: https://www.toodledo.com/tools/csv.php?completed=1 4. XML Export: https://www.toodledo.com/tools/xml.php That's 4 clicks per week to have some peace of mind! Hi,
I did the same. If someone managed to automate this task I would be interested. Kind regards Holger |

Kind regards Holger On Windows, you can: 1) Create a batch file that will do the multiple export/backup steps whenever you run it. 2) Then create a task in Windows Task Manager to run the batch file as often as you want. Have a look here: https://www.toodledo.com/forums/1/26873/-122517/read.html#jump This message was edited Jan 26, 2021. |

Thank you, but I should have specified my requirements: I would like a solution that I can put on a (Linux) server. Your solution only works with a browser that is already logged in.

@gummiblume - I wrote a python script to open one of those links on Chrome, which automatically downloads to a folder. Then have the script upload it to GDrive. Look into Selenium to run open the pages, and a cron job to automate this.

Holy crap!!!
I think you are right! All you have to do is click the links & it downloads a backup file, right?? WOW!! It seemed to work just now for me.... This will save me SO much time!! Could we automate this with IFTT / Zapier or similar? |

In view of the new lease of life, can we get this implemented by Toodledo?
