Using email to send tasks to Toodledo is a little easier on the Mac with the latest version of Textexpander. Textexpander has a new feature to define fields and prompts. So, for example this snippet:

%fill:task% #%fill:due-date% *%fill:folder% @%fill:context%

Will prompt for the task name, due date, folder, and context - all properly spaced and prefixed when the snippet is completed and expanded. This is all totally customizable.
