Is there a way to order my sub-tasks, especially on repeating tasks, so I can glance at the list and know right where to start? I also want to be able to pick back up where I left off and move forward. I have tried all sorts of numbering & lettering prefixes, but it still won't sort sub-tasks in an order that works for me. Outline works fine for simple projects, but I want to be able to brainstorm complex projects, then put the sub-tasks in the order I need to do them.

You can manually order subtasks.

From the Toodledo help topic -

"Reordering Subtasks
It is possible to manually reorder subtasks via drag and drop. This is a feature for Subscribers. To use this, you must first go into your account settings and under "Subtasks" enable manually sorting. Now, you can drag and drop subtasks into the order of your choosing and the sorting criteria discussed above will be ignored."
