remind me setting with ToodledoSync

Is there any way to force the remind me flag with ToodledoSync?
I set up the default remind me in the Toodledo settings but that does not seem to carryover when ToodleSync creates the task.

There is currently no way to set reminders through the Outlook sync tool. The developer may incorporate reminders when it is supported by the API. See this thread: http://www.toodledo.com/forums/8/2296/0/outlook-sync-tool-and-due-time.html
The New Task Defaults only apply to tasks created on the website. Toodledo has mentioed that they plan to make the defaults apply more universally (email, FF addon, etc.) in the future.
