Hi, <span> I'm the developer of toodleTasks. I recently ported my app from webos to android (and blackberry). If you are looking for a clean interface and support for all the majors toodledo features you can take a look at my app at www.prodisoft.ch</span> Hi YEYE1977 - I love the look of toodleTasks on my Nexus 7 tablet. But I really struggle to find my way around the interface. Is there a guide or a video tutorial anywhere? Thanks. |

A more helpful post would include an idea what platform the app runs on and a link to the developer website or (in this case) the Apple App store.
I think this is the app in question: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/todonote/id445815373?mt=8 Looks like they managed to take the often criticised toodledo UI and made it even worse! |

I've tried Appigo, 2Do, Pocket Informant and the Toodledo app. For me the Toodledo app is the best one.
I don’t like the way Appigo and 2Do 'hide' Project and Context views, the PI UI has not improved since I was using it on Windows Mobile 5 years ago. The toodledo app just works for me. |

Yep, TE support is most welcome. Thank you

Depending on what browser you use (either Firefox or Chrome) you could consider using the Stylish plugin or Greasemonkey and then using some of the usersyles found here:
http://bit.ly/nEhvGO Be careful as not many of the styles are written for the new layout. Find out more about stylish for Firefox or Chrome here: http://userstyles.org/stylish Find out more about greasemonkey here: http://www.greasespot.net/ |

@Toodledo
Are there any plans to adopt Markdown or Multi Markdown as a more user friendly way to format notes? Please say yes ;^) Edit: just found this thread so fingers crossed: http://www.toodledo.com/forums/2/11496/-2/markdown-support.html#end This message was edited Oct 10, 2011. |

From the Help files:
How do I create links or use special formatting in notes? You can attach long notes to any of your tasks. It may be useful to format these notes with bold or italic text and to insert clickable links. To format notes, you can use certain HTML tags. Supported HTML tags include , , <a>, <ul>, <ol>, and <li>. To use an HTML tag, you must surround the text that you want to format in the appropriate tag. To make something bold you would type: bold. To make something italics you would type: italics. Any URL that begins with http:// will automatically be recognized and converted into a clickable link for you. You can also use a standard HTML <a href> tag to make a link. To make a bulleted or numbered list, you can use the <ul>, <ol>, and <li> tags. For example: <ol><li>one</li><li>two</li></ol> would produce: one two Link here: http://www.toodledo.com/info/help.php?search=use+special+formatting This message was edited Oct 10, 2011. |

Yes, all fixed as of tonight for me. Thanks Toodledo

YOU TAKE OFF THE CAPS LOCK
. . . the you realize that notes can only be linked to a folder. You can add 'a note' to any task - by hitting the little note icon to the righthand column |

The script author is not re-writing it for Chrome :(
See this thread: http://www.toodledo.com/forums/3/7525/2/greasemonkey-script-to-edit-multiple-tasks.html |

If you are a firefox user then try this greasemonkey script:

There is a great userscript for those of you using Firefox that allows batch processing. It is discussed n these forums, see link below:
http://www.toodledo.com/forums/3/7525/2/greasemonkey-script-to-edit-multiple-tasks.html I just wish it would work in Chrome! |

You need to raise this problem with the developer of the 3rd party app

" Tasks with an alarm, but without a due-time will no longer beep relative to midnight. They will beep relative to noon."
Thank you - you have just saved my marriage! A great update. Now I'm just waiting for the ability to tie Location to Context rather than having to set both Context and Location for each task. |

Eliot,
Just a note to say thanks for the extension. I've been using it for a month or two now and love it. A web clipper to add either the selected text or a whole page to toodledo would be great. Not sure if this can be done without using the API though. toodledo, I also would love a webapp version for chrome. Please. |

Or is their another way to pass a Mail from the IPad to Toodledo on the IPad? Could you forward the email to your toodledo email address? Still does not solve to inability to open the attachment on the ipad though |

excellent news. I hope this carries forward on the iOS app too

Or just search for tasks with no folder assigned. This is assuming that all you non-Jott tasks have had a folder assigned when you added them via the web interface
That is how I do it - a saved search for no folder or mo context picks up all the item I email in to toodledo (I really should learn the subject line context!) |
