I need a way to easily add multi subtasks also.
It would be easier if the add multi task view has the "parent task" field. It is almost the bottle neck in my GTD practice. |

It seems that I didn't wait long enough for the syncing to finish.
This time it is ok. I just wonder whether tooldedo ipad version download all the past tasks in the history? It is not necessary for me.I just need the uncompleted tasks. |

I have problem syncing with my ipad with toodledo 1.6.2
First,it synced completed tasks in 2008 to my ipad without uncompleted tasks.:( Second, the time zone seems not right. It is 12 hours late,i.e.,01:00pm->01:00am. Third, repeating tasks are no longer repeating after sync.Weird. Maybe I am not lucky. |

When you add a task in the html version(http://www.toodledo.com/html),the archived goals are still visible in the goal field.
It is a little annoying. Please fix this. Thanks in advance. |

There is an app in the market called "Toodledroid" fit in the demand.

I find this app on market. It seems the app author hasn't post the news here.
It is a great app though there is much to be improved. http://www.cyrket.com/package/com.hoghollow.TaskList Android users can download the app from app market and give it a shot. It's better than ToDoo in speed and simplicity |

I agree. Color coding is great. I like the way Checkvist does it. But I created a userscript to make it possible in TD via priorities, and due-dates. You can download the script here: http://tr.im/tdthm This is great.I suggested this feature months ago.I tried to use some userscript to achieve similar effect, but failed. Thank you for your script |

Search is great in template customization.
It would be great if the start time would be available in the search criteria while "due date","due time","start date" are already there. The "start time" search field would add more versatility in the list customization. I can specify the tasks I should do in the morning, after, evening, etc. |

The CR/LF displays right in the web version.
But the CR/LF is ignored in the wap 2 version. I have lists in to do notes, such as: 1.XXX 2.XXX However,in the wap 2 version,it is displayed like this: 1.XXX 2.XXX It would be more effective if CR/LF is normally displayed in the wap 2 version. Thanks in advance. |

you can set the default view in your account setting.
If you set the "context" as your defult view, every time when you log into toodledo, you will see the last context you used directly. |

Posted May 15, 2009 in: how to search the completed tasks which were none repeating ones

Ooh, tricky. I can't think of any way you could do it without first tagging your repeating tasks or specifically changing their status after completion. If there are not many tasks, just many repeats of each, you could use "Task - Is Not" to filter them out, but that could be tedious if it's more than a few unique repeating tasks. I would probably try attaching a specific tag to repeating tasks, or changing their status after completing them (probably more complicated). Then you could use that to filter future searches. Thanks,I think that currently tag is the best option. I will search the current repeating task and tag them as"repeat" for future filtering. |

I try to search the none repeating tasks completed in the last 7 days in order to do some review work. And I have a lot of repeating tasks. It would be hard to find out what I have truly done in the last 7 days when the no repeating tasks messed with the repeating tasks.
However, when the repeating tasks are completed, they are no longer repeating. The property of the tasks show as "repeat:none" when a task is completed. So,my question is how to search the none repeating tasks in the last 7 days without messing up with the repeating tasks? Thanks in advance |

I set tag "IT" for several items yesterday.
When I go to the "IT" view, I find there are some items that are not tagged as "IT",such as "habit","nutrition",etc. I find there is "it" in these tags. So I guess tag is not case sensitive and there is a little bug with the regular expression about the start place of tag? |

I find that repeated tasks do not update google calendar ical.
The new tasks are ok with chinese characters and start time/due time. But repeated tasks remain the old information before the 4.45 update. This message was edited Apr 22, 2009. |

Since it is claimed that Chinese characters are supported for google calendar by toodledo in the latest update, I unsubscribed the ical and resubscribed it.
But an error popped out in google calendar,"We could not parse the calendar at the url requested." Please help BTW,would the google calenar gadget send the event notification if I set the notification in google calendar? Or only the google ical would do the notification job? We've got the iCal timezone and multi-byte UTF8 character encoding bugs fixed on our development server and are doing a little more testing before we make it live. Hopefully this weekend. That's great! |
