OK cool, that's what I'm doing now but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. Thanks Jake!

Hey all,
I haven't seen a way to do this, but I might be missing something. Is it possible to set a task to repeat multiple times in the same day? For example if I want to create a task to check my email every day at 9 AM and again at 5 PM. Currently I'm doing that type of functionality with one task that is set to repeat daily at 9 AM and one task that is set to repeat daily at 5 PM. It'd be nice to have one task so when I mark the 9 AM task as complete it'll repeat the task at 5 PM of the same day. |

Thanks, I checked there and indeed it looks like Pocket Informant is the culprit. I'll shoot them a message to let them know (although I'm sure they're aware if its a bug that you have also received comments about).
I run backups on my phone daily so I have a backup that I can restore and then push to Toodledo to get some of my tasks back, but Pocket Informant doesn't keep all tasks. I like the Recently Deleted Tasks, though, it looks like, with some time, I may be able to use that listing to restore everything manually. Thanks! |

To follow up, after reading this post I think I might be another victim of the Pocket Informant bug: https://www.toodledo.com/forums/2/15399/0/help-all-tasks-are-gone-after-synchronizing-with-pi.html
While I haven't synced PI in a while, I don't know if my tablet or phone might've been syncing without my knowledge and caused this issue. Is there an activity log so I can see if something synced and cleared all my tasks? ...and while I've lost years of tasks thanks to this bug, the first task I re-created was to remind myself to do a weekly backup of my Toodledo tasks! If you're reading this and haven't backed up your Toodledo tasks, do it now! |

I've used Toodledo reliably for years and years. Just now I was working on a task and had the timer going, when I went to stop the timer it wouldn't stop. So I tried refreshing the page and just like that all my tasks are gone.
My contexts are still there, my notebook still has the notes. It appears that only my tasks have been removed. Any ideas as to why this could've happened and if there's anything I can do to get them back? |

Hello! I was wondering if it's possible to set up an email alarm based off a context. I know I can filter the emails once they are received, but I'd like to be able to have this enabled from the Toodledo side.
So for example, let's say that I have two contexts set up in Toodledo: One called "@Home" and one "@Work". I'd like to set up the reminders so my @Home task alarms will be sent to [email protected] and my @Work task alarms will be sent to [email protected]. I wasn't able to find a way to do this easily, so I thought I'd check to see if anyone else has attempted/succeeded in doing this. Thanks in advance! |

I'm pretty certain there aren't any active tasks in the archived folders. I can go back and verify that, though, if you'd like. Shouldn't the folder list dropdown consist of the same folders no matter what view you're in, though? Here are some screenshots so you can see what I'm talking about.
01 - 09 (Main - Search) shows my current folder list. The last two, "Search" and "Calendar" are different than the rest, showing folders that I've archived. It seems to me like it should be one way or the other. Even if I accidentally have some active tasks in those archived folders, shouldn't they show up in all my folder lists? http://danlefeb.com/outgoing/toodledo_01-main.jpg http://danlefeb.com/outgoing/toodledo_02-folder.jpg http://danlefeb.com/outgoing/toodledo_03-context.jpg http://danlefeb.com/outgoing/toodledo_04-goal.jpg http://danlefeb.com/outgoing/toodledo_05-due-date.jpg http://danlefeb.com/outgoing/toodledo_06-priority.jpg http://danlefeb.com/outgoing/toodledo_07-tag.jpg http://danlefeb.com/outgoing/toodledo_08-status.jpg http://danlefeb.com/outgoing/toodledo_09-sharing.jpg http://danlefeb.com/outgoing/toodledo_10-search.jpg http://danlefeb.com/outgoing/toodledo_11-calendar.jpg If you want me to email you the uncropped screenshots just let me know where to send them. I just didn't want to post it publicly. Thanks! This message was edited Mar 30, 2010. |

I just majorly re-arranged a bunch of tasks and in so doing archived a bunch of folders and deleted a fair few more. Everything is much cleaner now, but I think that maybe I've come across a bug. It has to do with clicking "Add a Task" in particular task views. The "Folder" dropdown in "Add a Task" is up to date and correct in all of my views except for Search and Calendar. In those two views, if I click Add A Task it shows all my folders - including the archived folders. I could understand if all the folders showed up in all views or if they didn't show up in any (my goal) but I'm a little perplexed as to why the folder list doesn't show up the same in all views.
Is there some difference in the way that the different views call the folder list that would cause this? I wouldn't imagine there should be, so the only thing I can think of is that perhaps this is a bug. I took screenshots so I can send those on if need be. This message was edited Mar 26, 2010. |

Perhaps you're right, Andrew. I keep all reference material outside of Toodledo anyway, so perhaps my best bet would be to move it off of Toodledo. Thanks for the tips!

I'm looking for a tip on a technique for this as I've come across it before and I'm sure will come across it in the future...
I have a project that has some tasks in it. The project was canceled. I have quite a bit of notes and such in the tasks that I'd like to keep because I think they could be useful in another similar project down the road. So I don't want to delete the tasks, but I also don't want to mark them "complete" because ... well, its the principle of the matter on that. :) Unless I missed it there's no way to archive individual tasks, so in the past I've created a new folder with a name like "Archives" and put those tasks in there without due dates so they're not complete but they're not active either. I'd like to keep the tasks in their relevant folders and if possible be able to hide them from my "All Tasks" list since they're not active. Its sort of a hack, so I thought I'd see if anyone has any thoughts on ways to improve that. Thanks! |

I love the updates to the calendar that were made last month. But unless I'm missing something, is there not a way to get the calendar as the default view in account settings?

Is there a way to start a task once another task is complete? I tried the ? variable, but couldn't get it to work the way I want. As an example of what I'm trying to achieve, say I have two tasks - buying groceries and cooking dinner. I can't cook dinner until I have the groceries bought. This is a very simple example, but hopefully you get the idea. Is there a way to set up a task so that it is dependent upon the completion of another task? Thanks!
