Outlook wiil not display the security prompt if you have an active antivirus software. Fortunately, for those who do not want to pay for a bloated antivirus tool like Norton's or Mcafee, AVG (http://free.avg.com/) offers a free edition that will also do the trick. I only just installed it, so I can't vouch for how effective it is at protecting against viruses. But it's free so I can't complain and it stopped the annoying Outlook security popup! UPDATE: I was wrong. AVG does NOT prevent the popup. After I rebooted, even though AVG was active and running, the security popup appeared again. I installed MAPILab and all is good.
