I think you need to give them a start date, then hide tasks that haven't started yet.

I'm wondering if there's an easy way to "start over" with my account. I've backed everything up, and if I didn't have a subscription, I'd just create a new account..
I've learned a lot about managing tasks with toodledo and want to try a clean slate.. |

How to best set this up? Should we just start a discussion here?

That sounds reasonable, but I'm not sure I have the skill for it :(

I'd really like to be able to mark a repeating task "not done, but repeat in normal rotation"
for example, I have "Write in journal once a week" as a goal. The task is then, "journalling" and repeats weekly from completion date. I am now months overdue and would like to be able to "reset" the due date for this task to a week from today, WITHOUT marking it as having been done. Obviously, I can manually reset the due date for each task, but this is tedious. Is there a way to mark a task as "not done", like there is in habits? |

Rather than trying to get toodledo's data INTO google calendar, I'm wondering if anyone has done the opposite.. bringing google calendar (and maybe gmail) data INTO toodledo.. Thoughts?

I'd really like to be able to take the data from the
"Date Completed --> Exists" then Sort by: Task Name and do something with it, so I can basically figure out the frequency of task completion. Any thoughts on this? Calendar..? |

Can I have categories of habits? For example, I have work habits (empty "to answer" emailbox, check voicemail) and personal habits (track stress, exercise) and would like to have these in categories or .. something?
Is this a feature I'm missing, or does it not exist? Maybe I should use Tasks for this but.. Is there a way to see "dates task was completed"? This is what I was doing, had a daily repeating task (and love the priority stuff..) but I can't figure out how to go back and see which days I did/didn't complete the task. Habits also has the "Did, didn't do" options which is lovely.. |
