Posted Mar 23, 2019 in: Subtask entry is labeled as in a different folder? WTH?

So I have multiple folders in the Tasks. For example, 'Travel" and "Personal". I have a task in the Travel folder called "General Packing" intended to contain subtasks such as "glasses", "shaving cream", etc.
When I go in to create a new subtask it appears under a tab that says "Personal" and the rest of the existing tasks show in a folder tab called "Travel". It so happens that the default folder for new tasks entry is "Personal". So what is going on, am I misunderstanding how this is supposed to work? Wouldn't it make more sense if you add a subtask to a task it would obviously in the same folder as the parent task? And by the way, when I delete that errant subtask within "General Packing" in the Travel Folder with its weird "Personal" folder attached to it the app crashes. This tells me this is not the way it's supposed to work. I suppose I could move all of this to an Outline. Am I missing something here? Couldn't this be simpler? Do I really have to go and change the default folder every time I want to add a subtask? I signed up for the full version and starting to regret it. What is a good app that links between devices and has nested tasks the way it ought to be? |
